London Agency is kicking off 2026 with strategic leadership updates and two new appointments, as the specialist healthcare agency continues to build strong momentum heading into 2026.
The agency, which operates in Australia, New Zealand and parts of APAC, has appointed Mathew Langdon, previously Public Affairs Director, to the newly created role of Commercial Director. Mathew, a former Federal Health Minister Media Advisor and journalist, has been a driving force behind the agency’s public affairs capability and will now focus on commercial strategy, growth planning, and managing senior client partnerships.
Mathew joins Client Services Director, Annette Stenhouse to strengthening the leadership team by combining his experience with Annette’s 11 years at the agency. Annette leads client service delivery, people and culture, and operational excellence, ensuring the agency continues to deliver high-impact, insight-led work across its healthcare portfolio.
Both leaders sit alongside founder and Managing Director John Emmerson, forming a strong executive team designed to support the agency’s next phase of growth.
“I’ve been proud to grow with London Agency over the past decade, and the Client Services Director role feels like a natural continuation of my growth within PR and leadership. I’m committed to ensuring our clients continue to receive the high-quality, meaningful work they expect from us. I’m looking forward to helping lead the team in 2026 to continue building on the momentum of last year,” said Annette.
“I’m excited to step into this role and help the agency build on the strong foundations we already have. My focus is on supporting the team to work even more efficiently and effectively as we grow, and making sure we’re set up to deliver even more great work. It’s a privilege to work alongside John, Annette and the wider team as we conquer this next year,” Mathew adds.
This strengthened leadership team comes off the back of an impressive 2025 at London Agency. Late last year the agency announced a strategic partnership with Professor the Hon. Greg Hunt, former Australian Health Minister, in the role of Strategic Counsel. It also celebrated its 15th anniversary.
Welcoming new talent
London Agency has also expanded its PR team with the appointment of Carla Wijaya as Account Manager and Willow Spring as PR Account Coordinator. Both join as the agency continues to grow its healthcare and public affairs portfolio, strengthening its capacity to deliver impactful campaigns and support an expanding client base across pharmaceuticals, medical technology, and public health.
The new appointments:
Carla Wijaya: PR Account Manager
Carla joins London Agency with five years’ PR and digital communications experience in Australia. An expert storyteller, she has built strong media relationships through roles at the PR Group and Icon Agency and delivers engaging campaigns across social, digital, and traditional channels, including influencer marketing. Carla holds a Bachelor of Media Communication degree, majoring in Journalism at Monash University.
Willow Spring: PR Account Coordinator
Willow has joined London Agency as a PR Coordinator with a keen interest in health communications. She completed a three-month internship at the agency, and serves as a Peer Mentor for Advocacy & Voice and Applied Public Relations Research. Currently studying a Bachelor of Professional Communications, majoring in Public Relations and Digital Communications at RMIT, Willow is passionate about creating purposeful, audience-focused campaigns that inspire action.
Reflecting on the agency’s growth, John Emmerson said,
“2025 was an exciting year for London Agency. With a high-performing leadership team and the addition of talented new colleagues, we can continue delivering impactful, insight-driven results for our clients across the region. We look forward to seeing what we can achieve together in 2026.”
