London Agency is proud to announce two new medical communications experts will be joining the firm in September.
Medicines Australia’s Theodore Seng and Edelman’s Rebecca Dawson will join the Melbourne-based medical affairs firm as the Agency continues to grow their offerings for clients.
Ms Dawson also joins with an extensive resume in the PR and medical affairs space, working with some of the world’s largest multinational corporations and Australian Government departments.
Dawson, an experienced PR Account Director, has worked for a decade in communications across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. Prior to joining the London Agency, Rebecca has previously worked at Edelman Australia, where she led on key health accounts, managing campaigns for major clients such as Johnson & Johnson MedTech, Haleon, Alcon and Audika.
Her work has included strategic and crisis communications, project management, and media relations. Rebecca has a strong background in integrated marketing, corporate communications and influencer management. She has also led pro-bono initiatives for The Pinnacle Foundation, an LGBTQIA+ education charity, showcasing her dedication to purpose-driven communications and social causes.
“Joining London Agency presents an incredible opportunity to leverage my experience and work exclusively in healthcare communications,” said Dawson.
“I’m excited to collaborate with an experienced, dynamic team and work with clients who are at the forefront of healthcare innovation. I’m particularly passionate about driving impactful communications that not only shape public perceptions but also make a real difference in healthcare access and patient outcomes.”
Seng joins with a strong history in Australian healthcare, having served in the medical affairs and events teams for pharmaceutical giant GSK and advocacy group Medicines Australia for over two-and-a-half years.
“London Agency offers a unique opportunity to continue my work in expanding healthcare access across Australia,” Seng said.
“I’m eager to contribute to the growth of the Agency and support the push for broader healthcare reform across Australia and internationally.”
London Agency Managing Director John Emmerson said the pair would add fresh perspectives to the organisation.
“At London Agency, we’re always looking to expand our support for our clients and the addition of Ms Dawson and Mr Seng will help to expand the work of our team.”
“I look forward to working with them both closely as Australia and the region navigate what is to come in the healthcare space.”
