London Agency supported Pathology Technology Australia (PTA) in organising and executing a successful parliamentary event that attracted key political decision-makers to learn about point-of-care testing technology.
Bringing the latest technologies to Parliament and expanding the understanding of their potentially transformative nature helped educate parliamentarians who might be involved in making decisions regarding access to such devices. London Agency worked with the client to shape the message, create distinct levers of interest for regional and remote Members of Parliament (MPs) and for their metropolitan colleagues.
Leveraging our experience working across the aisle, we were able to formulate a message that cut through the hundreds of invitations a MP or Senator receives to generate the best possible attendance at the event.
London Agency worked with Parliamentary Services, photographers, videographers and exhibitors to set up a full day event. The event consisted of a number of panel discussions to educate the organisational membership and politicians about point-of-care testing technology. The ability to interact with the technology allowed parliamentarians to witness the utility of the products first hand. Taking it from an abstract concept to a tangible solution.
Using London Agency’s deep network of political contacts, we were able to ensure key stakeholders were in attendance and able to engage with the technology, member companies and delegates on the day.
Events at Parliament are a strong way to engage a large number of decision-makers in one go. Bringing the real benefits of your technologies front and centre, moving them from a potentially abstract concept to one they can see and engage with on a personal level.
London Agency has the skills, knowledge and connections to help in organising parliamentary events in Parliament House, from strategic direction, engagement with MPs and follow-up to the catering and audiovisual required to make your event a success.
